NEW LONDON, Conn. – Coast Guard Women's Soccer hosted Eastern Connecticut State in a non-conference matchup, falling 3-1.
In the first 3:26 into the game, the Warriors got on the scoreboard first. Both teams had four shots on goal in the first 45, but Coast Guard just couldn't connect.
In the second half, the Warriors added two more points to the board. Bears found themselves down 3-0 at 64:50 into the game.
CGA was finally able to get on the board from a
Mary Kate Huynh goal with just 19:74 left in the game. The Bears outshot the Warriors 15-6 in the second half, but could not seem to put another passed Eastern Conn.'s keeper Kaeden Dublin.

The Bears will hit the road this weekend and try to redeem themselves against Babson. The game will kick off Saturday, Sept. 23
