KINGS POINT, N.Y. - Bears Tennis took on Merchant Marine on Monday, taking down the Mariners with a final score of 8-1.

In doubles action, the Bears started off the match winning two of the three doubles points. Myles Decoste and Charles Norman were 8-1 winners at #1 Doubles and Banks Evans James Vuille-Kowing were 8-0 winners at #2 Doubles.

In singles action, Evans brought his current win streak to six with his 6-0, 6-0 victory at #3 singles. Norman clinched the match with his 6-0 6-0 victory at #2 singles.

The bears are back in action Wednesday at home against Brandeis.
