In the morning heats the men's 2V qualified for the grand final and the rest of the CGA contingent qualified for the second level final. Senior Stephen Bruno, team captain and bow of the men's 2V gave a special shout out to, "Anna Kemball-Cook for phenomenal race execution" and "Brian Golliher, who's efforts as 2V stroke seat is a credit to composure well beyond a novice walk-on."

The women's 1V have had some disappointment this year, but this afternoon they found a very good time to execute their best race of the year to-date. As team captain Marissa Marsh noted, "Everything came together today. I am so proud to have two competitive eights. Katie Long led the 1V with a strong and controlled stroke rate and Sarah Jacobsen motivated the crew to reach beyond their limits."

Senior Kirsten Sharp added, "we are excited to keep up this momentum heading into the Dad Vails." CGA Rowing is back in action at the end of the week (on Friday and Saturday 10 and 11 May) in Philadelphia at the Dad Vail Championships.
