NEW LONDON, Conn. – Coast Guard would win two of three doubles matches to start the match, but Connecticut College won five of six singles matches to beat the host Bears 6-3.

The Camels improve to 7-7 overall while the Bears drop to 6-7 on the season.

Tom Hackett and Jack Phillips were 8-6 winners at #1 doubles while the Bears #2 team of Kyle Fager and Chris Lansing also won 8-6.

Hackett registered a 3-6, 6-1, 6-1 win at #1 singles for the only Coast Guard singles point in the match.

Phillips at #5 singles and Arora at #6 singles, both dropped their match in three sets.

The Bears are back in action when they host Wheaton in a NEWMAC match on Saturday at 1:00.
