Bears Drop Spring Opener

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. -- Coast Guard lost to its Spring season opener 9-0 at Vassar on Saturday afternoon.

Weston Fortna was the only player to win a set as he won the opening set 7-5 at #3 singles before falling 6-1 and 10-6.

The Bears, who are now 2-1 on the season after winning both Fall season matches, are off until March 18th when they will host rival Merchant Marine at 3:30 p.m.
