For her performance in the women's lacrosse team's 10-9 NEWMAC playoffs win versus Smith College, Caitlyn Coates has been named the CoastGuardAthletics.com Athlete of the Week, presented by First Command!

Coates led the Bears offense with four points on four goals, while picking up two ground balls and a draw control. The senior captain proved to be the hero of the game, with her fourth goal coming in overtime on a free position opportunity to send the Bears to the NEWMAC semifinals.
