For his performance this week in games vs Western New England and Springfield, John Putnam of men’s soccer has been named CoastGuardAthletics.com Athlete of the Week, presented by First Command.

Putnam had 10 saves on the week including going a remarkable 3/3 on penalty kick saves. He made three saves in a 2-1 comeback victory over Springfield on Saturday. Men’s Soccer, currently 8-2-1, will host Clark this Saturday at 12.
