United States Coast Guard Academy

Jake will be going into his eleventh season as an athletic trainer at the Coast Guard Academy working primarily with women’s soccer, wrestling, baseball, and outdoor track.

He has been an athletic trainer for 19 years. Ibey graduated from the University of New England with a Bachelor’s in Athletic Training and then graduated from Springfield College with his master’s degree in Exercise Science with a concentration in Advanced Rehabilitation.

Prior to working at the Coast Guard Academy, Ibey worked in many different high schools all over the state of Connecticut.

Ibey lives in Colchester, CT with his wife, two children and two dogs
