Eric Krasnoo serves as the inaugural Executive Director of the Coast
Guard Academy Athletic Corporation (CGAAC), the independent
501(c)(3) organization supporting U.S. Coast Guard Academy Athletics
through revenue generation, strategic partnerships, and operational
excellence. Since joining CGAAC in 2025, he has led the expansion of commercial
partnerships, licensing, camps, and facility rentals, while overseeing major initiatives
including the first-ever neutral-site Secretaries’ Cup and supporting capital improvement
projects such as the planned Aquatics Center.
With more than 25 years of experience in the sports industry, Eric has held executive
leadership positions with US Sailing, Major League Soccer, Screenvision Media, and CBS
Sports. Throughout his career, he has specialized in business development, integrated
partnerships, media, marketing, and strategic planning, helping organizations drive growth
and create long-term value.
Eric holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Wesleyan University and an MBA in
Marketing from Cornell University’s Johnson Graduate School of Management. He also
serves as a Trustee of Link Community Charter School and as a member of the Wesleyan
University Athletic Advisory Council.
