Dana enters his first season as an assistant lacrosse coach after 14 seasons as the Bears assistant softball coach. Before that, he was an assistant track and field coach for nine seasons.

In softball, Fleischmann was a member of a coaching staff that won three NEWMAC regular season and tournament championships and also made four NCAA tournament appearances.

Fleischmann also serves as the Defensive Coordinator for the football team. 
   
He was an assistant football coach at Maine Maritime prior to arriving at the Academy. He worked with the running backs and served as Recruiting Coordinator and Academic Counselor.
    
The 1997 graduate of the University of St. Thomas in Minnesota was a two-year letter winner as a punter and a All-Academic selection in the MIAC.
    
Dana earned a Masters Degree in Athletic Administration and Physical Education from Northwest Missouri State in 1999.
