Lincoln White returned to the Coast Guard Academy as the Sailing team's Offshore head coach in 2023. He was an assistant coach with the program from 1997-2001 and served as the head coach in 2002 and 2003.

White blends 25 years of coaching, racing and diverse involvement in the marine industry. From 2003-2015 White was the Waterfront Director for the Larchmont Yacht Club where he was tasked with managing a nationally renowned junior sailing program, national level keel boat racing and world championship level team racing programs.

While at LYC, White competed and coached numerous victories, including winning the Ideal 18 North American Championship, Key West Race Week and the SORC.

White is currently very active in the J 70, Atlantic & Etchells classes. He returns to the Coast Guard Academy after running the Fishers Island Yacht Club as General Manager and Club Captain. While at Fishers Island Lincoln contributed to the sport of sailing most recently by assisting the F.I.Y.C. Team with winning 3 International One Design World Championships.

In early 2020 while White was the acting Offshore coach, he lead the CGA Bears to three podium finishes at the U.S. Naval Academy, including 2nd place at the 2019 Kennedy Cup, college sailing's Big Boat National Championship.
