United States Coast Guard Academy

J.C. Flaherty enters his fourth season at Coast Guard in his role as Associate Head Coach and Offensive Coordinator. In his tenure with the Bears, Flaherty has mentored four USILA All-Americans and seven All-NEWMAC honorees.

Prior to his time at Coast Guard, J.C. was the head coach at Old Lyme High School where he was named the 2018 Shoreline Conference Coach of the Year and led the Wildcats to a conference championship.

A 2012 graduate of Western Connecticut State University, Flaherty played attack for the Colonials and was a two-time Academic All-Little East selection. He graduated with a degree in Secondary Education and History.
