United States Coast Guard Academy

Pat begins his 30th season on the Bears staff.
    
Knowles entered the Coast Guard Academy from Missouri and graduated in 1983 with a B.S. in Civil Engineering. While a cadet, he was a four-year letterwinner in both football and wrestling.
    
His Coast Guard assignments have taken him to Hawaii (twice), Washington, D.C. and the engineering graduate school in Michigan.

    
Pat and his wife Ann reside in Norwich and have four children, Mark, Lydia, Lauren and Julia.
