KANSAS CITY, Mo. —
The United States Coast Guard Academy women's soccer team has been honored by United Soccer Coaches with a 2025-26 Team Academic Award, as announced by the organization in a release published last Friday, April 7th.
A total of 458 women's soccer teams across all three NCAA divisions posted a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher, thereby earning the honor for the 2025-26 academic year. The Bears posted a GPA of 3.59. Of that total, 183 schools had both their men's and women's programs recognized.
Coast Guard was one of seven schools representing the New England Women's And Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) on the list and one of three United States federal service academies, joining Army and Navy in that regard.
