NEW LONDON, Conn. –
On Tuesday afternoon, Coast Guard fell 6-2 to Clark to drop their 3rd straight. For the Bears, defense was the difference in the game. CGA lost by four runs, making four errors, and giving up four unearned runs. Clark improves to 13-5(2-0 NEWMAC) with the win. The Cougars will host the University of Saint Joseph tomorrow at 2:30 PM.

Conor Watts (Mahopac, NY) was nails out of the pen, throwing 1.2 innings of one hit ball, allowing no runs and striking out four. In the top of the 8th, a pair of errors on a bloop single gave Clark a little league home run to put the game out of reach at 6-2.
The Bears fall to 6-10 with the loss, 0-4 NEWMAC. Coast Guard's game at Mass. Maritime scheduled for tomorrow has been postponed with a makeup date TBD, so they will next get out this Saturday April 4th with a noon doubleheader at MIT.
