NEW LONDON, Conn. –
It was yet another impressive season for the Bears, who lost just one game in conference(3-1-4) and reached the NEWMAC Semifinal. After that successful year, CGA had three men earn their way onto the All-Conference Team:
Aki Freeman(San Diego, CA),
Aidan Miles(Tampa, FL), and
Cole Miller(Annapolis, MD).
Freeman made the second team and is no stranger to the All-Conference Team, this year being his third time selected. The senior forward tallied two goals and tied for the team lead with three assists.
Miles and Miller each notched their first All-NEWMAC selections with first team nods. Miles follows in the footsteps of 2025 graduate
Jude Sargent who was a first team centerback last season. Miles was the anchor of the Coast Guard defense that allowed just 1.00 goals per game. Miles contributed on offense as well, with three goals, two of which were game winners.
Cole Miller led the Bears in both points(13) and goals(6). Three of those six goals for the junior forward were game-winning, which led both the team and the conference. Miller will look to follow in Freeman's footsteps next season as a multiple time All-Conference recipient. For Freeman and Miles, the honor concludes their outstanding careers here at the Academy.
