With the loss, the Westfield State Owls fall to 0-4 to start their 2024 campaign. The Owls will next face Rhode Island College at home on Saturday September 7th at 11:00 AM.Â
Leading the way tonight for the Bears were seniors
Carlee Lingle(Schertz, TX) and
Kaela France(Calhan, CO). Lingle had a season high 11 kills with a .556 kill percentage. France had 18 digs while also adding one assist. Fellow defender
Vickie Mancine(Chicago, IL) added 12 digs of her own with two aces. Behind Lingle,
Allie Wildsmith(Bainbridge Island, WA) and Abby Schweitzer had eight and six kills respectively.Â
Sophomore setter
Sophia Rosenberg(Lebanon, PA) was the steady hand feeding the Bears hitters with a career high 19 assists.Â
