NORTHAMPTON, Mass. - Women's Lacrosse was on the road taking on Smith, with
Abby McAllister hitting a season high five goals in the 15-10 victory.
The Bears came out firing in the first quarter, putting up six goals compared to the Pioneers' one. Smith scored its goal at the 11:40 mark before Coast Guard went on its run.
CGA slowed down in the second quarter, only adding two. Smith scored five, bringing the score to 8-6 heading into the break.
To start the back half of the game, Smith scored the two opening goals to tie it up at eight. However, the Bears stepped it up again, scoring six unanswered to close out the third, leading 14-8.
The final 15 saw one goal from the Bears as the defense held the Pioneers to two, getting the 15-10 win.
McAllister led both teams with her five goals.

Laine Weber and
Caitlyn Coates each added one.
Devon McCue led both teams in saves with eight.
Maici Mintchwarner recorded five.
Coast Guard will next host Springfield on April 3rd at 5 PM.
