Coast Guard led early, with a 16-11 lead after the 1st quarter but the game was a back and forth battle for four quarters. The score was tied at 26-26 at the half and 41-41 after three quarters. Babson guard Emily Flynn tied the score at 41 on a last second shot with time expiring. In the 4th, the Beavers came out on fire, taking a 43-41 lead that they would not relinquish.

The Bears were led by junior forward Kelly Hagerty, who tied for the team lead in points with 12, and led the team with 10 rebounds.
