Box Score NEW LONDON, Conn. - The Coast Guard Men's Soccer team hosted Rhode Island College on Senior Day tying them 0-0.
In the first half, The Bears out shot the Anchormen 12 to one. However, in the first 45, neither team could find the back of the net and the scoreboard would remain empty.
Goalie Wesley Perrotto had five saves for the Anchormen in the first half to keep the Bears out of the net.
In the second half, RIC kicked it up a notch on offense, out shooting CGA seven to four.
Cole Miller and Liam McGowen both had two shots on goal. Senior Charles Fish ended the game with one shot on goal.
Josh Hudson kept the Anchormen out all second half, ending the game with two saves.
The Bears will be back in NEWMAC action this Wednesday, October 18th at 7 PM against Salve Regina.Â
