Sophia White of the women's track & field team is your CoastGuardAthletics.com Athlete of the Week, presented by First Command, for the week ending May 18th!

White competed in the 800 meters at MIT's Final Qualifier this past Thursday, running a season-best 2:13.74, placing tenth overall and seventh among Division III runners in the event.

The senior caps an impressive collegiate career as the Coast Guard record-holder in the indoor 1000 Meters and a member of the Academy's all-time best indoor 4x400 Relay team. She's also top-ten all-time in multiple other events.
