For her performance in opening weekend, Kaela France of Women's Volleyball has been named CoastGuardAthletics.com Athlete of the Week, presented by First Command.
In game one of the season against Lebanon Valley, France recorded 15 digs and three aces. Following that in the game against Stockton, she had two aces, 25 digs and nine assists. The following day against Haverford, France recorded four aces, four assists and 33 digs. In the final game of the weekend, she added 22 more digs against Augsburg.
France's performance helped lead the Bears to a 3-1 record to open the season.
Coast Guard will take on Westfield State on September 5th at 6 PM.
