For his performance in a 4-0 week for CGA Baseball, Rick Barkley has been named CoastGuardAthletics.com Athlete of the Week, presented by First Command.

Barkley hit .400 on the week with a .500 OBP and had a dramatic 10th inning walk-off home run to defeat league opponent Clark. The all-time Academy home run leader hit another bomb in game two vs Clark to cap off a 4-0 week for the Bears and give the junior shortstop 21 in his career.
