For his performance at the New England Division III Indoor Championships in Boston, Ian Naff of men’s track and field has been named CoastGuardAthletics.com Athlete of the Week, presented by First Command.

Naff won the 400 meter dash New England championship with a time of 48 seconds. That time broke his own school record and moved him into the top 20 in the nation. Ian also took 4th place in the 200 meter dash, breaking another Academy record with a time of 21.64. 

Next week Naff and his men’s/women’s track and field teammates will compete at the New England Intercollegiate Amateur Athletic Association (NEICAAA) Indoor Championships in Boston, MA.
