For her performances in last week's victories over Mitchell and Albertus Magnus, Glory Blethen of the women’s basketball team has been named CoastGuardAthletics.com Athlete of the Week, presented by First Command.
Blethen averaged 20 points, eight rebounds, and five assists while totaling three blocks and four assists between the two games. The senior forward scored 16 points, grabbed eight rebounds, and tallied three assists alongside three blocks and a steal in last Tuesday's blowout 101-28 win vs. Mitchell. She would outdo that performance just a couple of days later with a near triple-double of 24 points (a career-high), eight rebounds, and eight assists with four steals.
