For her performance in victories over Trinity College and Colby-Sawyer, Dorothy Stotts of Women’s Basketball has been named CoastGuardAthletics.com Athlete of the Week, presented by First Command.

In the game vs Trinity College, Coast Guard trailed by as many as 21 points but were able to come back to ultimately win 78-77 in OT. Stotts had 22 points in the game including the game tying three pointer with less than 10 seconds remaining in regulation and the game winning free throw with two seconds remaining in overtime. Versus Colby-Sawyer, Dottie scored 21 points with six assists in a 29 point victory over the Chargers. On the week, she shot 63.6% from beyond the arc.
 
Stotts and the rest of the women’s basketball team will face Mitchell College Tuesday December 10^th at home and Albertus Magnus on December 12^th on the road before having two weeks off for winter break.
