For her performance at the All Division New England Championship, Paige Phillips of Track & Field has been named CoastGuardAthletics.com Athlete of the Week, presented by First Command.

Paige came in 2nd place in the 5000m at the meet with a career personal best time of 16:59.22. With that time, she currently sits in 2nd place on the Coast Guard indoor all-time charts and is only the second Coast Guard female in indoor history to run the 5000m in under 17 minutes.

Phillips, along with teammates Josh Banks and Allie Wildsmith will represent Coast Guard at the Division III National Championship in Virginia Beach later this week.
