For her performance in victories over Salve Regina and Mount Holyoke this week, Kira Wood of women’s basketball has been named CoastGuardAthletics.com Athlete of the Week, presented by First Command.

Kira had 22 points and eight assists vs Salve, & 11 points and three steals vs Mount Holyoke. She has helped the Bears to a 19-6 record and they will host Babson in the NEWMAC quarterfinals on Wednesday February 21st at 7:00 PM.
