Originally from Johnston, Rhode Island, Anderson is a graduate of Ferris State University in Big Rapids, Michigan. At Ferris, Sean was an intern with Ferris State Athletics and wrote for the College newspaper "The Ferris State Torch" as a sports reporter while also playing for the club lacrosse team.
