CAREER RECORD: 55-8 

NWCA Scholar All-American last season

2020-21:
NWCA All-American with a second place finish at 184 pounds ... had a season record of 6-1 with three pins.

2019-20:
 NWCA All-American ... NEWA Wrestler of the Year ... won the Northeast Regional championship at 184 pounds to earn an NCAA bid ... was ranked second nationally at 184 pounds ... posted a perfect 28-0 record on the season with eight pins ... won the All-Academy championship, becoming just the second Coast Guard wrestler to win an All-Academy Championship as Nate Giorgio won the 133 pound championship and was named the Most Outstanding Wrestler in 2015 ... also won the Doug Parker, Ted Reese and Jim Aguiar Invitationals 

2018-19: New England Wrestling Association (NEWA) Rookie of the Year and second team selection ... NCAA qualifier by placing third at Division III Northeast Regional at 184 pounds ... was 21-7 with five pins ... won the Ted Reese Invitational, placed second at the Doug Parker Invitational and was fourth at the All-Academy Championships

High School:
Member of the wrestling team for four years... captain of team... 3rd place in state in 2011... State Champion in 2012

Personal: Marine Environmental Science major... son of Greg Detwiler and Teri Briggs, has two siblings, David Detwiler and Jordan Detwiler... Dad played rugby and boxing at USNA, cousin, Andrew Horstman played football at USAFA
