HIGH SCHOOL: captain and two-time Virginia state place winner (4th and 5th) at Fauquier High ... also captain and All-region and second team All-state selection in lacrosse 

PERSONAL: Mechanical Engineering major ... his grandfather Galan McEachin is retired from the Coast Guard ... has a younger brother Nolan and an older brother Jackson ... son of Richard, who was in the Coast Guard and Jennifer McEachin
