Jacobs Rock Sailing Center

The Jacobs Rock Sailing & Seamonship Center is set on the Nitchman Field waterfront. Jacobs Rock serves as the headquarters of the Academy's nationally-competitive varsity sailing program, as well as the site of sailing training for cadets. The facility has hosted various ICSA-sanctioned regattas throughout the years while acting as the home training and competitive grounds for several All-American sailors.

The Sailing Center is a three-level structure. The first level features men's and women's locker rooms, a sail storage bay, and a boast bay. The second level is comprised of coaches offices, a meeting room, the team room, and displays for trophies and past All-Americans. The third level is an observation deck for competition viewing. Jacobs Rock was built in 1984 with contributions to the Coast Guard Foundation thanks to the CGA Alumni Association and private citizens, corporations, and foundations who held interest in the Academy's sailing program.
